Work Experience

Architected and built over 10 custom web apps for clients in Node.js/Typescript and React, usually on 6-month timelines, as project tech lead for 5-15 developers. Advocated AI tooling and high-quality coding with advanced PR reviews. Projects include GraphQL federated backends, Snowflake analysis tooling, micro-frontend React and Angular, and C++ AWS Lambda binaries compiled for cloud.

People Lead for 5 employees (handling pay, performance reviews, and career coaching) and ran the LGBTQ+ chapter for the Minneapolis Accenture office before transferring to Chicago.

Credit Card Rewards Platform

Architected a whitelabel credit card rewards platform to replace a legacy system with direct Postgres access, scoping deliverables, leading a team, and partnering with client API teams on a safe modernization path using AWS AppSync, GraphQL and Lambda.

Ping Autonomous Identity (prev. Zoran)

Developed OIDC/LDAP auth and ML pipeline tooling for an Accenture Security labs IAM platform later acquired by ForgeRock (now Ping Identity).

Energy Transition

Led a 3-person team alongside energy scientists to build a React-based hydrogen circular economy modeling platform for manufacturing plants on AWS DynamoDB, Lambda and GraphQL.

Imported consultant led app to in-house development team and modernized Angular-v1.5 UI to React without disrupting existing users. Moved from Heroku to AWS ECS with Terraform and MongoDB Cloud. Also scrum & UI/UX leader.

Drafted ReactiveCocoa and MVVM architecture plan for clean-code practices on the Apple team projects. Added functionality to complex jQueryUI-based web app. Helped UI/UX and scrum leads plan features.

CrashPlan

Built network bandwidth UI in both Electron-based user desktop app and a complex jQueryUI-based admin web app, collaborating directly with UI designer and Product Manager.

SharePlan

Integrated ReactiveCocoa and MVVM architecture in an Objective-C iOS app and implemented constraint-based AutoLayout UIs.

Created cross-platform native mobile and web apps with Xamarin, Angular.js and Knockout.js, plus exposure to C#, directly for two independent developers focused on local and regional small businesses.

Built demo app in direct collaboration with company co-founder to demonstrate value of staffing agency software created by TempWorks. Exposure to .NET and WinForms UI.
